Firstly these can stop appearing if it is disabled in outlook. In Outlook 2010/2013, go to File > Options > Advanced and find the Reminders section. will do the same. I checked their settings within Outlook (File-->Options-->Tasks) and (File-->Options-->Advanced)...in the Advanced tab the "Show Reminders" box is checked.¬† I'm just not sure why or how an admin UN/PW combo could affect

If one falls into intense concentration it's very easy to miss a reminder and notice it buried under other windows only after you're late. Works as advertised out of box, and it delivers on successive notifications. And I solve it the exact same way as above (OWA). I just tested this in win 7 / outlook 2016.
