In Outlook 2010/2013, go to File > Options > Advanced and find the Reminders section. Surely I’m overlooking something here as I assume Outlook is perfectly capable of doing this? I wonder why, after all these years, there still isn’t a “Mark Complete” button in the Reminder window when you select a Task or another flagged item.
